Amazing Communication

Modern communication is so amazing. When I grew up as a missionary kid in the late 70's and 80's communication back to the US was extremely difficult, not to mention expensive. A telephone call lasting only a few minutes could add up to big $ very quickly and so it was seldom used. For more urgent communication you used the telegraph system. Yes, it would have a line of text followed by the word "stop" then another line of text, etc. Those were the days. Now we have cell phones, text messaging, e-mail and VOP services, just to name a few, that help to make our world smaller. To help our churches communicate better we have our website. Thank you for looking at our website. If you live in Davie County or close by we would love to have you visit us.

Now I even have a blog. I will update it from time to time and I welcome your feedback. Communication is about exchanging information, it is about having a relationship. The Bible is by far the best form of communication to date, you see that is how God planned to communicate Himself to mankind. The Bible says in John 20:31 " But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believeing ye might have life through his name." What amazing communication, with a purpose. If you don't know Christ as Savior, I would love to introduce you to Him through His Word the Bible. Come join us.
